It’s a satisfying thought my interest in gemstones as a kid. Their purity and rarity attracted me and I fantasized about chancing upon them in the Earth. Over time, my fascination in this physical, material boon evolved into a search for value in knowledge and creativity.
Sometimes I have this primitive feeling that gemstones are somehow embedded in books and intellectual content, waiting to be discovered and applied for the benefit of mankind. At a base level, this urge is what motivates me to continue learning.
This transition from physical, material value to abstract, intellectual value describes a psychological change exerted on our speeches from our dawn to present day.
