Future of collegiate learning

The future of collegiate learning – several students and one teacher in an entire auditorium, I’m assuming with a live-stream to remote students.

Besides the STEM R&D labs, what are they going to do with all that expensive real-estate?

College is already over-priced and economically worthless unless you get the right degree. What’s the difference between University and Coursera these days? Students should demand discounted tuition.

Take the difference in price between between MOOC’s and university course credits, and that’s the cost of a accreditation (now just a status symbol) and a subsidy on unused campus facilities.

Seems like a call for disruption or a tipping point with regard to employers’ acceptance of non-accredited learning.
