Every one of my research findings relate to either the user, the product, the brand or the market/category.
I like thinking about it on this spectrum – from specific user behaviors to features & product planning to brand attitudes to high-level market trends. In a way, it’s the blending of disciplines like UX, product strategy, CX and market research.
Each discipline acts as a lens to view research questions through. And I think it’s the goal of the researcher to jump between these different lenses and end up at a coherent point.
